  Amazing anti-acne ingredients, but leaves a greasy T-zone in summer

  The packaging of this innisfree serum is very high-quality, sturdy, and well-made, but the only downside is that the bottle is completely opaque, so it is impossible to see how much product is left inside. The ingredient list is absolutely amazing-retinol, salicylic acid, and green tea make for the ultimate power combo against acne and breakouts.I have combination skin with a very oily T-zone, especially now that it is summer. The texture is quite interesting; it feels a bit oily at first drop, but as you rub it in, it becomes very lightweight and loses that oily feel. It leaves a slight stickiness initially, but once it fully dries down, it doesn't tighten or dry out the skin at all, meaning you can easily skip a moisturizer over it.I apply it every single night before bed, but I notice that my face still wakes up with a greasy, oily shine in the morning, so using a foaming gel cleanser in my morning routine is an absolute must. Overall, it is a fantastic formula for acne prone skin, just be prepared for some morning oiliness if you lean oily or combination!

  Good for acne skin, make your skin not too dry but works so well

  My second bottle. It's really hard to find a product that combines all retinol, salicylic acid, and green tea like this one. It helps my acne skin been improving a lot, soothing and treat the acnes well. It also makes my skin looks good with retinol anti-aging. Highly recommended!

  Cleared up my skin and really is truly gentle

  Even though I don't have oily skin and don't suffer from acne constantly, my skin still manages to break out when trying new skincare products that it doesn't like. This is why I ordered this Gentle Retinol Salicylic Acid Serum by Innisfree. Since I have dry sensitive skin and suffer from rosacea, normally I keep away from BHAs, but the word "gentle" persuaded me to try it. The serum comes in a white glass pump bottle, and disperses as a clear, odorless liquid. It is thicker than expected, and feels a bit oily in application. After a couple minutes it was absorbed, and it did leave a slight tackiness on the skin. I really don't mind this since I always apply moisturizer afterward. What I love about this serum is that it did not sting anywhere, not even under my nose, where it is pink from blowing my nose during allergy season. I really like the texture and how it feels on my skin, plus it left a nice natural looking sheen that looks healthy. I had several blemishes on different areas of my face, so rather than spot treat them, I applied the serum everywhere. I did this at bedtime for 2 nights, and by day 3, all of the blemishes were looking much better and already in the healing stage. Going forward, this will be my choice for breakouts every time, because it is much more convenient than sticking patches everywhere, plus offers other benefits as well. The formulation contains 2% salicylic acid, and less than 1% retinol, which seems plenty enough to make a difference. To keep it from irritating sensitive skin, this product also contains lots of hydrating ingredients such as glycerin, betaine, hyaluronic acid, propanediol and beta glucan. It also has plenty of soothing ingredients like adenosine, Centella Asiatica, green tea, tocopherol, lactobacillus ferment lysate and Allantoin. Lastly, this formulation understands the importance of antioxidant support, especially for those with acne who may have compromised moisture barriers. To that end they have added niacinamide and carrot root extract, which along with several other aforementioned ingredients will help the skin to fight off damage from free radicals and other environmental stressors. I am excited by the thoroughness of the formulation, and also the fact that it does fall under "clean beauty", if that is important to you. Currently this serum is selling for $34., and I feel like that is a bargain for such an effective product that truly is gentle. Highly recommended Made in Korea

  Great value, great formula with lots of benefits for skin!

  I like this acne serum a lot. It has been gentle for my skin. I have sensitive skin. And the retinol allows me to continue to reduce, improve my skin texture and heal acne. Retinol, salicylic and green tea is a very good formula to help unclog my pores. Many benefits combined in this which to me, makes this a good value for the money. A+++
