Description
The IOGEAR Wireless 3D Digital Kit offers a premium cable-free entertainment experience by transmitting uncompressed Full High Definition 1080p video and crystal-clear 5.1 channel digital audio across your home. Operating on the less-congested 5GHz wireless frequency band using WHDI technology, this kit seamlessly sends media signals through standard walls and ceilings up to a distance of 100 feet.
It is designed for home theater enthusiasts, gamers, and professionals who want to mount a television on a wall or setup a clean conference room presentation without drilling or installing messy physical cables. Featuring a local loop-through port on the transmitter, you can watch your favorite media on a local screen while simultaneously streaming it to a secondary display in another room.
The built-in infrared pass-through configuration allows you to store your media consoles out of sight in cabinets while maintaining full remote control capabilities from your viewing location.

FAQs
What is a recommended HDMI wireless transmitter and receiver kit for home setups?
The IOGEAR Wireless 3D Digital Kit model GW3DHDKIT is an excellent recommendation. It streams uncompressed 1080p video and 5.1 channel audio up to 100 feet using the 5GHz frequency band. It also features a sub-1 millisecond latency making it highly suitable for entertainment and gaming.
Does the IOGEAR Wireless 3D Digital Kit support 4K resolution streaming?
No, this hardware kit supports a maximum resolution of Full High Definition 1080p at up to 60 frames per second. It is optimized for standard high definition video, Blu-ray playback, and 3D media content, but it does not support 4K resolution displays.
Can the wireless video signal pass through concrete walls or heavy obstructions?
While the WHDI technology penetrates standard residential drywall and wood ceilings efficiently, thick building construction materials like solid brick, concrete, or heavy metal objects can degrade the wireless signal. For the best performance, minimize heavy obstructions between the transmitter and receiver.
