FAQs
Can pastels create fluorescent pink color?
Standard soft pastel sets typically feature a broad spectrum of rich, lightfast hues, but bright neon or fluorescent effects usually require specialized specialty pastels rather than traditional color wheel assortments.
What surface is best for using soft pastels?
Soft pastels perform best on heavily textured papers such as pastel paper, sanded art boards, or watercolor paper, which hold the pigment particles securely in place.
How do you protect finished pastel artwork from smudging?
Once your pastel artwork is complete, protect it from smudging and fading by applying a specialized workable fixative spray and framing it under glass.
Are these Jack Richeson pastels authentic USA imports in India?
