Superb For Carrying.
This really does remove most of the grunge from the AM Broadcast Band. For the WWV signal at 5 MHz at night, without the filter my local AM station was coming thru fairly loudly, but this filter thoroughly or almost completely eliminated the AM station.

Excellent client service!
A great little receiver. Still learning, but it's a fun experience. Hooked up to a 80M long wire antenna, and received a little bit better than my spacious transceiver.

Superb portable radio
UPDATE: I have had this radio for about a month. I am quite sure this is the antenna. It also operates superb.I give it a 10 for sure. I discovered a hardwire leading to the strap. So... Functions superb and does not stick out extremely far. don't cut it off.I placed a mini USB in my radio. Later I changed to a mini SD card. In the future designs I would be fine to see blue tooth capabilities. Sound is great. AM / FM is wonderful. One thing I wish it had is a scrolling name / track of the song that is playing. I was going to remove the wrist strap. HIGHLY ingenious. But, for the current cost it is a VERY PLEASANT radio that I greatly suggest. One think you should know is. Effortless to apply. Am fond of it!

Straightforward to set up and employ
You are not going to work with this for daily work with. Powered with two aa batteries you are good to go. This little tinny sounding radio covers am fm and short wave and even has a small led light. This can be a life saver. You will be happy you put it in your emergency supplies in case of hurricane or national emergencies.
