FAQs
Can chinchillas use hammocks?
Yes, chinchillas absolutely love using hammocks and elevated platforms. These accessories cater directly to their natural instincts to climb, jump, and rest in high vantage points within their enclosure.
What is the best habitat for a chinchilla?
The ideal habitat is a large, multi-level wire cage that offers plenty of vertical space. Incorporating safe wooden ledges, hanging swings, and soft bedding areas keeps these active rodents mentally engaged and physically healthy.
Can chinchillas live in a wood cage?
It is not recommended to house them in a fully wooden enclosure because chinchillas are active chewers and can easily gnaw through the structure. Wire cages outfitted with safe, removable wooden accessories are much more secure.
Is this Jevnd chinchilla hammock authentic and available in India?
Yes, this product is an authentic Jevnd pet accessory imported directly from the USA. Dropy sources all merchandise directly from trusted American suppliers to guarantee genuine quality for pet parents in India.
How do you clean the soft cushion included with the hammock?
