Description
The Jim Dunlop Tortex Standard 1.0mm Guitar Pick is the global industry standard for musicians seeking precision, longevity, and a perfectly balanced acoustic response. Originally engineered in 1981 as a high-quality alternative to natural tortoiseshell plectrums, this iconic blue guitar pick has revolutionized how players interface with their instruments.
It is crafted from premium Delrin and subjected to a proprietary treatment process that unlocks its full potential, providing an optimal blend of rigidity and flexibility. Perfect for advanced guitarists, intermediate learners, and touring professionals alike, these picks are equally suited for digging into heavy electric guitar riffs or executing clean, articulate acoustic strumming passages.
The engineered material offers a snappy, bright attack that provides riffs and licks a distinct tonal edge while retaining full body. Musician-focused geometry ensures an expressive range of notes, providing the universal flexibility needed for switching between intricate soloing and rhythmic backing patterns.
How to use
- Hold the plectrum firmly between your thumb and index finger, leaving a small portion of the pointed tip exposed.
