Such an embarrassing state! I never did give the ointment away so when I had a rash on my face just now that wouldn't go away using usual methods, I gave this a shot. I don't know what I'll do with the rest of the jar. Somehow the dreadful crotch rash that wouldn't die for years went away in about a week and this minuscule face rash took a little over a week, but I'm rash-free now and I'm keeping this stuff around in case I ever need it again. I dont think it goes unsatisfactory. Must have been fungal as its going away! Not sure why the reviews complain about the smell. I think it is pleasant.UPDATE: Several months later it has not returned!! Victory!!! I had a recurring problem that i tested all kinds of remedies for. I think it was just shy of a week before it was really finally gone. OTC creams spays and powders provided some relief but it never went away entirely until i utilized this for a not many days. I can live a normal life now. Pass it along to someone who needs it I guess if anyone has the nerve to let me know they need it!UPDATE 1 Year later: I've had no recurrence of my original rash, thank goodness!! It smells enjoy lemongrass. I had it in some form or fashion for so long it's STILL hard to believe its truly gone. Being itchy down there is the worst. I still find myself checking the area regularly out of some habit since I had it for so long and it never went away fully for remarkably long. Doesn't seem any distinct a year later. I spent literally YEARS battling this with various OTC methods and aged wives tales and this stuff cleared it right up in less than a week.

Itchy and a funny prank
This is basically a benzocaine cream... But this is basically a numbing cream... In general, this is a nice over the counter medication for basic itchiness, but if it last long, I think one needs to go see a doctor in place of of using this to temporarily relieve their itch. Yes, it is effective in stopping the itch.
