  3. Clean the nail plate using alcohol or a dehydrator. 3.
  4. Apply a thin layer of gel if using as a base coat and cure under a UV or LED lamp for 60 seconds. 4.
  5. To attach tips, apply the gel to the inside of the false tip, press firmly onto the nail to remove air bubbles, and flash-cure. 5.
  6. For building or rhinestones, apply a thicker layer as needed and final cure for 60 to 120 seconds depending on lamp wattage.
