Hydrating Lip Mask with a Beautiful Tint
I'm officially obsessed with this lip mask. It has the slightest candy-like scent that makes it really enjoyable to use without being overpowering. A little goes a long way-just a quick twist and swipe, and it leaves my lips feeling hydrated with a nice pink tint. It's super easy to apply and feels comfortable on the lips. It would work great as an overnight mask, though I personally stick to daytime use since I'm a side sleeper and don't want it transferring to my pillowcase. Great hydration, subtle color, and very user-friendly.

Softer Hydrated Lips, subtle color
Julep Lip Pudding is a rich formula that gives just a hint of color to parched lips. The container dispenses product a little bit at a time by turning the inside top. Only a small amount is needed to do the job. After the container starts to dispense product try just 1 click to start. This can be used as an over night balm, but due to the color I use it during the day only. I don't want the color transferred to my pillow case. This lip mask/ balm gives dry lips an instant pop of moisture and subtle color. Going on thick and a little greasy (especially if you use too much) it quickly absorbs leaving the lips soothed, hydrated and with healthy natural color. After a few days of regular use my lips appeared healthier and had better color even with the lip pudding worn off. If they made a colorless version I would use this as an over night lip mask as well. The Vanilla is more of a mild scent than a taste, so I don't find myself mindlessly licking the product off my lips. The lip pudding is tasteless. The small container is easily carried in a purse or backpack. Definitely a product I will purchase again.

A smooth, glossy balm with a buildable pink tint that feels as good as it looks. Julep = win, win.
I received the Candy shade, and it's a really pretty nice pink that can go either way: a light touch gives just a hint of rosy color, and if you add a little more it builds into a brighter pink without ever feeling heavy or overdone. It's a nice option if you want something that hydrates but also truly gives your lips moisture. The texture is what impresses me the most. It's very smooth and almost melts as soon as it hits your lips, leaving a nice not-overly-glossy finish that feels comfortable rather than sticky. It sits somewhere between a balm and a gloss - more fluid than a traditional stick balm, but still moisturizing enough to actually help with dryness. They moniker 'pudding' really fits. I've been happy with how soft my lips feel after using it. The packaging takes a minute to figure out. You don't want to twist too much or you'll end up with more product than you need, and it can get messy inside the cap if you're not careful. One to three uses and you'll have figured it out how much to dispense. As far as using it overnight, I think it's better as a daytime or evening balm. Because it stays glossy, it can transfer a bit, so I personally wouldn't use it as a heavy night treatment. For regular daily use though, it does a nice job keeping lips comfortable. I already have quite a few products from the Julep line and have had good luck with the brand, and this fits right in. It's not the most heavy-duty fix for severely dry lips, but for everyday hydration with a little color, it works well and feels good to wear.

Beautiful Formula !
This is such a nice balm formula. It feels hydrating without feeling sticky or claggy. The smell is a subtle chocolate vanilla smell. It doesn't have any taste to it, it isn't sweet or bitter. As for the color it's a nude mauve brown. On my lips it goes on as a neutral gloss with a light pink brown undertone. I really like this balm because it feels lighter than my other lip balms including my laneige and ole henriksen ones. I also was able to drink water and the gloss stayed on. I'm definitely going to get the other shades. I also like how sanitary the dispensing mechanism is- you turn the bottom and it pushes product to the top. A quarter turn is enough for one application.
