Lightweight Daily Gloss with Pleasant Scent
I ordered the Julep So Plush Glossy Lip Oil in All Neutral after looking for an everyday lip product that wouldn't feel heavy. This lip oil delivers exactly what it promises - a sheer wash of color with impressive shine. The formula feels incredibly lightweight on the lips, which makes it perfect for daily wear without that sticky sensation some glosses leave behind. The scent is genuinely lovely and not overpowering, which was a pleasant surprise. Application is effortless thanks to the smooth gel formula that glides on easily. The jojoba, apricot, and avocado oils provide noticeable hydration without making lips feel greasy or heavy. The All Neutral shade gives just enough tint to enhance natural lip color while the high-shine finish creates a polished look. For quick touch-ups throughout the day, this works wonderfully. At $12 for, it's reasonably priced for the quality and performance (it lasted for about 4 hours before I had to reapply, so the longevity is there). This has become my go-to everyday lip product - it's simple, effective, and delivers consistent results.

I like this more than I expected to! Not as opaque or shimmery as I expected, which is a good thing
Does anyone else remember when Julep was a nailcolor subscription? I had so many! I also had no idea they'd branched out to other cosmetics, so of course I had to try this out. The stock photos make it look more opaque and obviously shimmery than it really translates to when wearing (this is a good thing for me). It still has enough shimmer to add good dimension to lips. It has a nice smooth texture that feels hydrating/moisturizing, which is impressive for a shimmerier gloss. This gloss doesn't have the best longevity; a lip primer helps with that, and also, I don't mind reapplying and in general don't expect glosses to last a super long time. The smell/flavor isn't strong or waxy like lipstick would be. I got the Soft Mauve and think it would be flattering on most complexions.

Love the mint smell, feels nice and refreshing!
I really love this lip oil. I'm not a fan of the super runny ones, but this one feels more like a gloss. I love that it smells like mint, as it's a nice change from the other fruity lip oils. It's very easy to apply, and has a nice, big applicator wand. It doesn't get too sticky after dry down, though after a while there's going to be a bit of tackiness. I think that's just how it is with most lip oils, and you just hope for the least tacky. This one isn't too bad, but the biggest thing for me, isn't it doesn't become gritty. I can't stand when lip products get like that, so grateful for when they're a bit tacky, yet stay smooth and soft. The color is basically clear on me, and upon doing a swatch. I know it looks pigmented, but for my lip coloring, it just looks like a clear gloss. If you have paler lips, then this may show a bit more color for me. I don't mind, because it shows mistakes less as I'm running out the door getting children ready for school. It is on the thicker side, but not like gloopy kind of thick. Just feels like a softer gloss. Would definitely order again! The mint fragrance just makes it feel really fresh.

Pretty sheer gloss with a hint of pink
The Julep So Plush Glossy Lip Oil in Hot Pink is a pretty lightly tinted lip oil with a glossy finish. The glass in the tube looks like a bright pink, but it goes on clear with just a touch of pink. It's very moisturizing and feels great to wear. It's the perfect lipgloss to use every day for a natural look. For a more dramatic look I add it on top of lipstick and or lipliner. It is made in China. Even though I usually prefer US or Korean brands, the quality of the packaging and ingredients is very good. It has a light fruity scent and comes in a pretty tube. This is a great gloss for daily wear!
