I love this stuff - and I'm a woman!! It is perfect if you don't have a lot of gray or a lot of volume of hair. My hair is medium to dark brown, medium length and pretty thin, definitely fine, and I use the light brown. I have used medium but light is just fine. It is darker than light, for me, over my hair. The process is really easy and doesn't take long and I feel that it is less harsh than some dyes.And what I love most is that it doesn't have a reddish tint at all! I don't want reddish-brown; I want a neutral brunette color and their brown colors are all like that. On the cool side. Love it and have been using for years. !!! You can't go wrong.

OK, so now you know. It's not all natural. This is the best and easiest hair color I've ever used. Just like the commercials imply it's a simple five minute application to your hair and once the timer is up getting in your shower and wash and shampoo it up. I'm not sure if this is just for me and the way my hair takes the color but it covers about 80 to 90% of all my grays and leaves just a handful of subtle random pieces peeking through. It makes me look like I'm just at the starting point of possibly starting my graying years. So it looks supernatural and not like a solid color of shoe polish on my head. If you're afraid of going to dark, I recommend for your first time trying a hair color, one shade lighter than you think you are. That also helped do the trick for me. I used the latest brown/darkest blonde and I love the light golden brown. It leaves my hair like in my 20s. OK, enough confessions I'm not telling you, my age.
