FAQs
What is the best material for placemats?
Food-grade silicone is widely considered the best material for baby and toddler placemats. It is completely waterproof, inherently slip-resistant, and free from harmful chemicals. Additionally, its flexible nature allows for easy cleaning, rinsing, and portable travel storage.
What do we call a food mat?
A food mat is commonly referred to as a placemat or a table mat. When designed specifically for babies and toddlers, they are often called silicone feeding mats or spill-proof baby placemats due to their added protective features.
How do you clean a silicone toddler table mat?
Cleaning this mat is incredibly easy because it is fully waterproof and stain-resistant. You can simply wipe away small messes with a damp cloth, rinse it directly under the kitchen tap with soap, or wash it alongside your regular dishes.
Is this Kalovin silicone placemat an authentic import available in India?
Yes, this is an authentic Kalovin product imported directly from the United States of America. Dropy India sources all personal care and baby products directly from trusted USA suppliers to ensure genuine quality for Indian parents.
Will this non-slip mat stick to all types of dining tables?
This silicone mat is designed to stick optimally to smooth, flat, and non-porous surfaces such as polished wood, glass, marble, and laminate. Textured or heavily grained surfaces may reduce the suction grip.
