Reliable, Handy, and Packed With Features
The KAYINOW emergency radio is honestly a great buy. The sound quality is clear, the NOAA weather alerts work well, and the multiple charging options (solar, hand crank, USB) make it super reliable. I love that it also has Bluetooth, so it doubles as a small speaker when I'm not using it for emergencies. It feels sturdy, portable, and perfect for camping or keeping at home for power outages. Definitely worth it!

Decent piece, inferior instructions
This is a good product, with good sound and good reception of the NOAA reports. The Instructions are TERRIBLE. If you simply press the mode ("M") button until you get to NOAA, it WILL NOT WORK. That's because you have to select the proper NOAA band for your area (there are seven) first. First, press the mode button until you get to "WB." That stands for "Weather Band," which is not common knowledge. Then cycle through the different bands by using the + and - buttons. NOAA gives a regular weather report that is repeated nonstop, 24/7. So you can get the current weather whenever you like. But you probably don't want a constant weather report going, you only want it to let you know when there is an alert. ONLY THEN should you press the mode button again. There will be NO SOUND, and the letters "NOAA" will flash continuously (which is a bit of a pain, but you can turn it to face the wall if it bothers you). If there is an emergency, the radio will spring to life on its own with an alert tone and a voice telling you about the emergency. (These include marine cautions and tests, so we've heard it go off a couple of times, but not too often). I am glad that I bought it, but I wish the instructions were more clear.

Impeccable Emergency Radio
I am really impressed with this little radio! It is very compact for all of the features it comes loaded with. I nearly don't know where to start, but I think durability is a must-have for any emergency gear. This radio is high-quality, with great speakers and a solid construction. I believe it is built to last and I am very thankful for the fact it is waterproof. Next, it has multiple options to charge the radio battery, which can then charge your devices! You can plug the radio into an outlet and charge it as usual. During an emergency, there is a solar panel and a hand crank to recharge the radio. To charge your devices, there is a USB port and a USBC port on the radio. The radio's battery can also be used to power the flashlight and reading light options. Lastly, I had no issues tuning into my local radio stations. The audio was loud and clear.I highly recommend this radio to everyone. This is a great upgrade on older models, as the additional features suit every need from charging your phone to producing a soft light for your room. With clear audio and numerous ways to recharge your radio, you will never be left without local updates during an emergency. Thanks for reading my review and I hope you found it helpful!

A must have in any emergency
Great emergency radio. My daughter loved playing with an old school radio with antenna. The wireless charging and solar panel is an added bonus! Solar panel and crank charger is an essential in an emergency. Very solidly made. I believe the case will be able to take some damage! Also includes lights and pre-programmed emergency weather channel. A must have in any emergency. Amazing amount of features for the price.
