    beautiful and complementary colors but kind of subtle

    The colors in this palette are beautiful with a nice metallic finish. I love that there are several highlighter style colors available in the set, so I will use these a lot. The colors are so beautiful that it makes me want to use this even though my skin is dry and I do not always have a great experience using powder makeup. The powders feel quality. They are soft and blend together easily. While the powder does bunch up and shed a bit in the compact I did not experience a lot of fallout or transfer on my face or eye area. I think the powder is soft enough that it picks up really easily, but thankfully it seemed to stick to my face well and stay put. The color was fairly subtle for me and it seemed to last my full work day even though it was still very subtle at the end of the day.

    Feels fancy at an affordable price

    Great neutral palette. The coverage starts off light for everyday wear but can be built up for a more dramatic look. The formula is smooth and buttery and applies evenly. The compact is the perfect size for putting in your purse for touchups and the removable mirror is a nice touch. It came wrapped delicately in paper which made the unboxing experience feel luxurious. I was very impressed by this especially for the price.

    Beautiful Natural Look Palette.

    My palette arrived safely, but some of the shadows did look like they were threatening chaos so they needed to be pushed back down. These shades are lighter than I thought they'd be, which I actually like because it makes them much for wearable day to day. They can create a very natural look. I really like that there's a couple of highlight shades, because I can use them on my cheeks or cupids bow too. All of the shadows are super soft, apply and blend great. There is a little fallout if you're not careful (especially the shimmers), because these are so finely milled. I really love how compact this is; literally, it's a traditional sized compact. It's so easy to travel with. I will say though, that it's not exactly a super solid compact (it feels a little cheap) and it can shift. You will still want to take care with it. The mirror can remove (I'm not quite sure why honestly) and this compact is refillable, as the eyeshadow can be removed. If you can grab this palette under $20, I think it's a good value; much more than that and I'd expect a more quality compact case.
