FAQs
Can you replace a DS Lite shell?
While a full internal housing replacement requires technical disassembly, this KlsyChry hard shell case acts as an external protective cover. It snaps directly over your existing shell to protect it or conceal external wear without needing any tools.
What is the difference between NDS and NDS Lite?
The original Nintendo DS is a bulkier, heavier console, whereas the Nintendo DS Lite features a slimmer design, brighter screen options, and a smaller form factor. This specific protective case is custom-molded exclusively to fit the streamlined dimensions of the DS Lite variant.
Does this clear cover add significant weight to the handheld console?
Not at all. This lightweight polycarbonate cover weighs approximately 50 grams, ensuring your gaming sessions remain comfortable and strain-free while still delivering robust protection against scratches and daily handling.
Is this KlsyChry gaming accessory authentic and imported to India?
Yes, this product is a 100% authentic USA import. Dropy India sources these specialized gaming accessories directly from trusted USA suppliers, ensuring genuine quality and reliable protection for your classic gaming consoles.
Will this protective hard shell cover fit the Nintendo DSi?
No, this transparent case is designed specifically for the Nintendo DS Lite (NDSL) model only. It will not fit the original chunky Nintendo DS or the later Nintendo DSi console due to layout and dimension differences.
