Product details
Description
Kolor Kut Water Finding Paste is a highly reliable industrial diagnostic tool designed to detect the presence and exact depth of water at the bottom of petroleum, diesel, gasoline, kerosene, and hydrocarbon storage tanks. Specially formulated for the petroleum, chemical, and maritime industries, this golden-brown paste undergoes an instant, vivid chemical reaction when it comes into contact with water, shifting to a brilliant red color while leaving the surrounding fuel completely unaffected.
Beyond standard fuels, this versatile formulation is effective for measuring water content in demanding chemical environments, including sulfuric, nitric, and hydrochloric acids, as well as ammonia and soap solutions. It provides crucial protection for equipment, storage facilities, and vehicle fleets by preventing the transfer and consumption of water-contaminated fuel.
How to use
- Apply a thin, even film of the golden-brown Kolor Kut paste onto a clean gauge glass, measuring stick, or weighted dipping line.
- Lower the prepared apparatus into the fuel storage tank until it reaches the very bottom.
- Hold the stick steady for a few seconds to allow contact, then smoothly withdraw it from the tank.
- Examine the line where the paste was applied; any portion that has turned brilliant red indicates the presence and exact depth of water contamination.
