    Gentle on lips

    This is my first ever lip scrub. I gently rub a miniature amount (we're talking minuscule because a little goes a long way) on my lips and then work with a cotton round with a bit of DHC deep cleansing oil to remove the scrub, then lightly wash with warm water. I have non-dry, non-flaky, hydrated lips by morning. I follow the treatment with the Julep 24/7 Lip Treatment and Hydrating Gloss. Then I moved to the East Coast, and my lips dried out terribly. Insert the French Girl Rose Lip Polish. The lip polish has truly crafted a variation for the health of my lips. Definitely suggest 10/10.Oh! I wanted something to keep from having the skin peel off. The polish's tiny scrub beads are plush adequate to help my dry skin and not wreak havoc on my lips. As a general rule, I don't appreciate rose scented anything - it's always overpowering in whatever item I'm using. I can confirm that this has a light rose scent (I mean it's in the name), but it dissipates promptly and for me is largely unnoticeable. My lips are extremely sensitive and prone to cold sores if the skin is damaged, so I've every time avoided abrasive lip treatments.

    Gets the job done but oily residue...

    I have not used the article long, but it does leave your lips gentle after use. The only problem I have is it taste like salt and it is supposed to be a sugar scrub.
