FAQs
What is the best shampoo for a Sphynx cat?
The best shampoo for a Sphynx cat is a gentle, pH-balanced, and unscented formula that targets sebum accumulation without stripping the skin. Kotomoda Probiotic Shampoo is designed specifically for hairless breeds to clear pores and manage grease naturally.
Are Sphynx cats smelling?
Sphynx cats can develop a distinct oily odor if they are not bathed regularly. Because they lack fur to absorb natural skin oils, these secretions build up on the skin surface, requiring a specialized probiotic cleanser to break down oils and control odor.
Can I use baby shampoo on my Sphynx?
It is not recommended to use human baby shampoo on Sphynx cats as human skin has a different pH level than feline skin. Using human products can disrupt their natural skin barrier, leading to severe dryness, irritation, and increased oil production.
Is this Kotomoda Probiotic Shampoo authentic and available in India?
Yes, this product is completely authentic. Dropy India sources Kotomoda products directly from trusted distributors in the USA, ensuring Indian pet parents receive genuine imported pet care items for their premium hairless cat breeds.
Does this shampoo help with Sphynx cat blackheads?
Yes, the live-culture probiotics and microbial enzymes in this formula work to break down dirt, debris, and excess sebum trapped inside skin pores. Regular bathing helps minimize the occurrence of blackheads and acne in the skin folds of hairless cats.
