Description
The Landen Double Tab Connector is an essential, high-utility accessory designed for aquarium hobbyists seeking effortless filtration maintenance. Engineered specifically for canister filters utilizing hoses with a sixteen millimeter inner diameter, this heavy-duty dual-valve connector acts as an intermediate control point within your water line.
It features an innovative quick-release mechanism paired with dual integrated shut-off valves that instantly seal and halt water flow the moment the unit is disconnected. This layout eliminates the common frustration of messy siphon spills and water leakage during routine filter cleaning.
The precision blue levers provide fluid, incremental adjustment, allowing you to fine-tune the water flow rate through your fish tank's filtration system to match the delicate current needs of your aquatic livestock. Perfect for both freshwater aquascapes and marine reef setups, this connector integrates seamlessly with premium filtration setups, including the Landen Pura series.
By allowing you to isolate and detach your canister filter without moving or entirely shutting down the primary plumbing layout, it significantly reduces maintenance downtime and minimizes stress on your delicate underwater ecosystem.
How to use
- Cut your aquarium canister filter hose at the desired maintenance point.
- Push the sixteen millimeter hose ends firmly onto the barbed nozzles of both ends of the double tab connector, securing them tightly with the integrated screw caps.
- Turn both blue levers to the open position parallel to the hose for normal filter operation.
- To perform maintenance, turn both levers perpendicular to stop water flow, unscrew the central coupling ring, and separate the halves without any water leakage.
