FAQs
What is the thread size of a 1/4 air fitting?
A standard 1/4 inch air fitting typically refers to a nominal thread size that uses 1/4 inch National Pipe Thread (NPT) standards. This sizing ensures a tight, leak-free connection when paired with standard industrial pneumatic hoses and tools.
What is the inner diameter of a 1/4 inch air hose?
A standard 1/4 inch air hose usually has an inner diameter of 1/4 inch, though the outer diameter can vary depending on the hose material and wall thickness. This size is optimal for standard pneumatic applications requiring moderate airflow.
How do I connect this extension kit to my existing setup?
You can connect this kit by threading the 1/4 inch ends into your existing air hoses or compressor lines using thread seal tape. Once installed, the quick-disconnect mechanism lets you snap the hoses together instantly.
