Great sound quality
The box had a minor dent on the corner from transit, but thankfully the instrument inside was completely safe and untouched. Played it at a studio session yesterday and the projection from those flat steel jingles is brilliant.

Best purchase for practice
My percussion mentor recommended this exact model for my samba practice. The flat platinellas give that sharp, dry jingle sound right away, and the honey finish on the hardwood frame looks super neat. Totally worth getting.

was skeptical
was skeptical about buying a wood shell frame drum online since weather changes usually mess up the pitch, but this one actually holds up well. tested it during jam sessions and the black synthetic head keeps it sounding crisp without needing constant tuning.
