  Not self tanner, more enjoy foundation

  I actually love this bronzer. It isn't self tanner really which was a little disappointing... It's more like foundation... but it's pretty high quality foundation.

  Straightforward to apply, liked the tint and feel on my skin, temporary, healthy, sun exposed, look

  I ordered this Le Vital brand "Instant Glow Self Tanner Gel" to try for my first experience with a self tanner/bronzer. I am familiar with other products containing vitamin E and avocado oil and felt comfortable using a gel that contained these ingredients.The two, 1.7 oz, plastic tubes of tanner gel came in individual boxes. The same info, such as ingredients and how to use, are the same on the box as on the plastic tube, but it is easier to read on the box. It comes with a nice large, black, slightly slanted brush tip, applicator brush. The gel and brush came inside a clear, plastic, brown zippered, reusable bag.Upon removing the lid, the tube has a pointed, small opening tip to squeeze small amount of gel out at a time. The gel is a medium brown color, and a slightly thick liquid cream texture. While smells are subjective, to me, it has a very subtle clean smell that barely and briefly lingers on the skin after applying. As noted on Dropy and packaging, you can mix with a small amount of oil/cream, which I did.I applied with my fingertips but found, to my surprise, that the brush, provided by seller, was excellent at blending in to my hairline and in areas where i didn't want to get wet fingers too close, such as my eyelids and under eyes. I also used the brush to blend at my neckline.I have a fair to medium complexion, and older, wrinkled, skin. I played with the amount of oil to gel mixture but never used gel alone. I settled on slightly more gel than oil. For me the color came out great, giving me a healthy, but not too dark, color. I rarely use makeup, and with this I definitely would not. I did not experience the dreaded orange look, left by some self tanners.While it is not permanent, I did not experience it wiping off with everyday contact, I had to make an effort to wash it off. I did not experience any staining of clothes, pillow cases, etc., but I also did not exert myself, like gardening or exercising, where I would perspire, and possibly cause the color to fade or stain clothing.The seller stresses vitamin E and avocado oil, but I do want to mention that the ingredient list is extensive, containing many other ingredients. So if you are subject to allergic reactions, thoroughly read the ingredient list.Overall; I liked the look and feel of my skin, after applying, I was satisfied with it lasting throughout the day but not after a deep cleansing; mixing with oil meant it took a small amount to cover desired areas and will make the two tubes last longer. With the caveat that I have not used over a long period of time, I have no issues recommending this to others to try.

  This product is a game changer...after a famous skin care company discontinued theirs. Ive been looking for a replacement. This is it. No streak, doesn't stain and ling lasting.
