FAQs
Are you planning to use them for soldering, automotive testing, or electronics projects?
Yes, these nickel-plated alligator clips are versatile enough for all these applications. They function exceptionally well as temporary test leads for multimeters, third-hand workbench clamps during soldering, and reliable connectors for hobbyist electronics and low-voltage educational science kits.
Do you need advice on attaching wires securely using the screw terminal?
To attach wires securely, strip a small amount of insulation from your wire, loosen the tail screw on the alligator clip, insert the bare wire strands firmly into the terminal, and tighten the screw down completely. For extra durability, you can slide the protective plastic boot over the wire before making the connection.
What is the size and jaw opening of these alligator clips?
Each clip measures approximately 2 inches or 51 millimeters in length, with a maximum jaw opening width of about 0.43 inches or 11 millimeters, making them ideal for standard miniature clamping and testing tasks.
