    So easy !!

    Had my daughter learn how to drink from a straw after 1 use !!! It was so easy for her to pick up on it. It's not leak proof as the smallest squeeze of the bear has water coming out lol & it's hard to clean without a brush. But we love it & the color - great quality & perfect for my 7.5 month old. Been using since she was 6 months & it's great ! Plan to continue to use until she's older before we graduate to a normal straw cup for travel

    Every 6 month old should start with this cup

    We bought this when my daughter was 6 months old, we always skipped the sippy cups and went straight to a straw cup. Until they get the sucking motion through the straw down, there is also some tension from them holding the cup that pushes the drink through, which helps them learn. It's a little pricey for just a cup, but it's so cute. I only ever used it for water, but I'd imagine it might be hard to clean if you had a different kind of liquid in it.

    Works great

    I never used the original bear straw cup with my first baby as she took to straw drinking without issue. However I'm due with my second in May and I couldn't resist having this on hand to try with number two! In addition to being a great learning tool, it's an adorable cup. The water does come up rather easily and I can imagine it being pretty messy for this reason, but all new food/drinking experiences are pretty messy with a baby (and it's only water). I love the soft silicone and that it's dishwasher and freezer safe. They also include two different straw lengths which is very convenient. Overall a little pricey but I love the novelty of the bear design with the silicone material… worth it for me!

    Best way to teach baby to use a straw

    The best way to teach your baby to use a straw. You can squeeze the bottle to encourage them to drink. After just one day our son was able to figure out how to use the straw. We loved that it also came with the tools to clean it as the shape is not easy to clean without it. Definitely recommend this as a first "cup" for kids.
