FAQs
What is a good soft collar for cats after surgery?
A soft, adjustable fabric collar filled with breathable sponge is an excellent alternative to rigid plastic. It prevents cats from reaching upper-body wounds while allowing them to eat, drink, and sleep comfortably.
Can a cat still lick its paws with this recovery collar?
Yes, this soft recovery cone is designed specifically for protecting wounds on the upper body. Because of its flexible design, pets may still be able to reach their front and hind paws.
How do I stop my cat from slipping out of the collar?
Adjust the drawstring so there is only a gap of one to two fingers between the collar and the neck. Secure the cord lock and tie a double knot right next to it to prevent your cat from pushing the fastener open.
