    Low Dose Works Best

    I've got about 5 brands of melatonin collected in a drawer a couple are 10 mg. My doctor advised me that a higher dose often works opposite of what melatonin is intended for. I hadn't been having much in the way of a successful night's sleep with the supplements I had so I decided to take her advice and try the lower dose. It works for me if I take two capsules a couple hours apart - first one at 10:00 pm and the next at midnight. The dosage is small enough that I don't feel like I'm overdoing it. They are quite small, easy to swallow and effective with a good drink of water. I've been taking them for a couple months now. It was rare for me to get a good night's sleep, continuously waking all night. I do occasionally still wake up around 4:30 am, not able to go back to sleep but 9 times out of 10, I am able to regain sleep again. This is the most effective melatonin I've tried, worth every cent, and I will definitely reorder. Shipping was very fast.

    Works for me!

    This smaller dose, closer to the bodies natural level of melatonin production, has improved my ability to fall asleep and stay asleep considerably. When I'm finished with this bottle, I'm going to give the time release version a try.

    The right dose

    With melatonin, less tends to be more. For me, 1mg is okay occasionally, but .5mg (500mcg) is the right dose.These capsules are very easy to swallow and work excellently. Will be back for more when I'm out, but with 200 that covers a good portion of a year!
