Highly handy for the lighter thief that without fail loses their own
I bought this for my brother to attach to his wallet. He liked it and he stopped losing his letter every five minutes and having to take everyone else's. I suggest this for those in your life who consistently lose their lighters and need to be attached to them. The functionality is great and does exactly what it's supposed to do. The fit is very snug for the lighter. It's durable and has not broken yet. It's very light so it really just depends on if you have a heavy lighter or not. The build quality is great and I've had no problems with it. Definitely getting value for your money with this product.
FAQs
Are Bic lighter waterproof?
Standard BIC lighters are not inherently waterproof, and a wet flint will prevent them from sparking. Using this silicone holder upside down over the top of the lighter acts as a protective cap, helping to keep the flint dry in damp conditions.
Is it safe to keep a lighter in your pocket?
Yes, it is generally safe, but loose keys or coins can accidentally depress the gas guard or scratch the casing. Using a silicone keychain holder keeps the lighter protected and securely attached outside or inside your pocket without accidental discharge.
How long will a Bic lighter last if you don't use it?
A standard BIC lighter can hold its fuel for several years if stored properly because the fuel tank is well-sealed. Protecting the external body with a durable silicone sleeve prevents physical degradation over extended storage periods.
Is this authentic Lighter Locators brand available in India?
