Description
The S.T. Dupont Premium Butane Yellow Gas Refill is the gold standard for maintaining the performance and longevity of your luxury French lighters. Specifically engineered for the Ligne 1 (Small Model), Ligne 2, and Long Table lighters, this high-purity butane ensures a clean, consistent flame every time.
This twin pack contains two 30 milliliter canisters, providing enough fuel for approximately ten full refills, making it an essential accessory for collectors and daily users alike. Crafted with technical excellence in France, the yellow-coded canisters match the filler screw on compatible models to prevent any fueling errors. For enthusiasts of the Gatsby series and vintage Dupont models, using authentic premium fuel is critical to prevent valve clogs and internal damage that lower-grade gases often cause.
This imported fuel provides the reliability required for high-end ignition systems.
How to use
- Ensure the lighter is empty by depressing the filler valve with a small tool to release trapped air.
- Select the yellow-coded canister.
- Hold the lighter and the butane canister upside down.
- Press the canister nozzle firmly into the lighter's filler valve for approximately 5 seconds.
- Wait 5 minutes for the gas to reach room temperature before igniting.

These are so much superior than trying to apply an adapter to fill my lighter.
These are so much better than trying to use an adapter to fill my lighter.

Same as the ones sold by the official retailer
I apologize for previously giving a bad review. The screw did not match because the lighter is supposed to be filled by red gas refill. I purchased the wrong item. But, I would blame it to ST dupont since the official web says the Line 2 should be using yellow gas. But, in fact, it should be red. It is very confusing.

We Have No Pick!
So Expensive but we have no choice! The gadgets to attach to the Dupont nozzle to bypass their butane are not worth the aggravation or risk of damaging the expensive lighter. Won't take other brand nozzles! Unfortunately due to the price of this butane and lack of fuel window on the lighter I don't use it often! There is also a specific way to use this product to fill the lighter so make sure to watch the tutorial on line! I wasted a lot of fuel first time I attempted to use these canisters. That being said the fuel is fine and the lighter is special!

FAQs
What is premium butane gas?
Premium butane is a highly refined version of liquified gas that has been filtered multiple times to remove impurities. Using premium gas prevents the clogging of delicate burner valves in high-end lighters, ensuring a steady and clean flame.
How many refills can I get from one 30 milliliter canister?
Each 30 milliliter canister is designed to provide approximately 5 complete refills for standard Ligne 2 or Ligne 1 Small models. This two-pack offers a total of roughly 10 refills.
How do I know if my lighter requires the yellow gas refill?
Check the underside of your S.T. Dupont lighter. Unscrew the filler cap; the inside of the cap or the screw itself will typically have a splash of yellow paint to indicate it requires this specific butane formula.
