Formulated with a mineral spirit base, this low-viscosity varnish dries to a smooth, non-reflective matte finish that reduces harsh surface glares while safeguarding your pigments against ultraviolet light damage, dust, and environmental pollutants.
The flexible, self-leveling formula expands and contracts naturally with canvas shifts, ensuring it will never crack or yellow over time. Ideal for serious artists and conservationists, this permanent protective layer remains completely removable using mineral spirits or turpentine when future cleaning is required.
Housed in a generous 32 fluid ounce bottle, it provides extensive coverage for multiple large-scale studio projects. Experience professional conservation standards trusted by creators worldwide, now conveniently available as an authentic USA import for Indian artists.
How to use
- Gently stir the bottle before use to re-blend settling matting agents; do not shake to avoid creating bubbles.
- Ensure your workspace is well-ventilated and dust-free with the artwork laying completely flat.
- Apply 1 to 2 thin coats using a wide, soft-hair flat brush, waiting 24 hours between coats.
- Ensure acrylic paint is fully dry for a minimum of 72 hours, or oil paint is completely cured for 6 to 12 months before application.

saved my son portrait
bought this huge 32 oz bottle because my teenage son has been doing oil paintings nonstop for his college portfolio and needed something reliable to seal them up. the matte finish is super clean and cuts down all that annoying glare under study room lights. really happy seeing his work stay protected against dust.

good finish
the outer carton was slightly torn when it arrived from transit, but thankfully the large bottle inside was completely safe and intact. applied it on my latest acrylic canvas after waiting the proper 72 hours and it dried down to a very nice flat non-reflective look without ruining pigment colours.
