  2. Put on the provided gloves and mix the protective color cream into the developer bottle, shaking thoroughly until completely blended.
  3. Apply the non-drip mixture evenly onto dry, unwashed hair, starting from the roots and working through to the ends.

    Love this brand!

    The smell isn't terrible. The color sticks so far. Been a week. Washed twice besides the day of the dye itself. Shampoo is fantastic. Light shampoo but really fathers. Washes excess dye completely away. Conditioner should be sold in bigger bottles. I love that conditioner! The wet hair is after bleaching and the dry is after the reddish blonde dye.

    Love L'Oréal

    I have a medium brown color with some grey, this color gives me a beautiful summer blonde. Makes my hair very silky and feels wonderful. No fading and the 2 minute conditioner is amazing . It makes my hair so healthy.

    Apply to roots second! 8 medium blonde

    I have dark dirty blonde naturally. I have highlights professionally done that are almost a year old and only on the bottom half at this point. I tried to lighten my base with 8 UA and it came out a little too orange which is surprising since it's ultra ash. I do like a bit of warmth so I decided to just try the regular 8. I read that the scalp is naturally warmer and processes faster, so the advice was to put it on the roots second. I applied it to my bottom layers first, avoiding my roots and then my top layers also avoiding my roots and left it on for 10 minutes before applying it to my roots. I left it on for another 20 minutes and then used L'Oreal ever pure purple shampoo just in case with Le Color gloss one step toner. Again, just to avoid brassy oranges. I think this is the most natural result I've ever gotten and doing the roots second was key!

    Great DIY hair color!

    I have been coloring my hair at home for some time now due to cost. This color was recommended to me by a family member and it is the best DIY hair color I've used so far! It completely covers my grays. Also the comb that is included makes it so easy and less messy. The gloves are also a decent quality. I have med-dark brown hair with grays and my hair is past my shoulders so one box does the trick! My hair comes out super shiny. Be sure to use the included shampoo and conditioner.
