    My Search is Over!

    When the glycolic acid facial cleanser that I had used for more than 20 years was discontinued, I was forced to search for an acceptable replacement. Fortunately, my skin has not been prone to breakouts since my teen years and I am now in my mid-50's. For two years, I tried several different glycolic acid facial cleansers, but found that each product caused my face to breakout. Knowing that it takes skin time to adjust to a new skin care regimen, I used each new product for at least 3-4 weeks before trying a different brand. None of the products were working, so I gave up for a while.In February 2026, I resumed my search and saw L'Oreal Revitalft Derm Intensives 3.5% Pure Glycolic Acid Cleansing Gel on Dropy. I decided to give it a try and I'm so grateful that I did. I noticed a big difference the first day. The gel lathered up very well and left my skin feeling clean and free of any residue without any noticeable fragrance. Within five days, my face was blemish-free!!My facial cleansing process included placing a small drop of the cleansing gel on a silicone face scrubber every morning and evening, splashing my face with warm water and scrubbing the gel into a lather. I used a warm, wet wash cloth to remove the soap and followed up with a glycolic acid toner and facial moisturizer.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone using glycolic acid cleansers. For those that don't, just know that this is a strong cleanser and it needs to be slowly introduced into your facial cleansing regimen.

    Love this glycolic acid!

    I love using this on my face and neck. I actually will use it on my arms and shoulders as well sometimes. I definitely feel that it brightens my skin and makes it look shiny and healthy. I will continue to buy it.

    Perfect morning cleanser!

    This is a perfect morning cleanser to use to freshen your face and prepare your skin for a vitamin C serum! I ordered this after seeing a dermatologist recommend it. I have sensitive skin and this is safe to use. It is gentle yet effective. It starts as gel then turns into a foam as you lather it on your skin. Your skin will be brighter and more moisturized! I went back and forth between ordering this one and a more expensive one and opted for this one which I am glad I did! Extremely effective at an affordable price! (And I am all about some affordable effective skin care!)
