FAQs
How to protect a dog bed from urine?
Using a dedicated waterproof replacement cover like this one is the most effective method. The specialized PVC backing seals out moisture completely, trapping liquid within the washable fabric layers before it can seep into and ruin the inner mattress foam.
What is the best material for a dog bed cover?
Heavy-duty 600D Oxford cloth with a water-repellent layer is highly recommended for pet bedding. It provides an optimal balance of scratch resistance, structural durability, breathability, and reliable moisture protection.
How to wash a waterproof dog bed cover?
Remove the cover from the inner pet cushion and machine wash it on a gentle cycle using mild detergent. To preserve the integrity of the waterproof PVC backing, air drying or tumble drying on a low-heat setting is best.
