This HDTV antenna really surprised me. It's compact, takes up almost no space, and looks discreet. Installation was very simple: I just connected the cable to the TV, placed the antenna near a window, and scanned for channels. The signal was quite good; I was able to get several local HD channels without interruptions. The cable is long, which helps in positioning it for better reception. It also comes with an amplifier to boost the signal, which is useful if you live in an area with poor reception. The only thing is that the signal strength can vary depending on the location, so it's important to move it around a bit to find the best spot. Overall, it works very well for a small and inexpensive antenna. Ideal for watching local channels for free without paying for cable.
In the past I had bought the flat antenna with mixed results. We taped them up as high as we could above windows. They kept falling down and TV picture quality wasn't that good. 38 channels tops. Our house sits downhill in a poor signal location far from a tower. I saw this type antenna, read reviews and thought I would try it. It came in a small box. I figured nothing this tiny would work. Boy, was I wrong. Took 15 min. to set up, scanned for channels and got 56 working channels! The picture clarity is unbelievable. This little gem is the best indoor antenna we've ever had and the price is reasonable.
I'm very happy with this indoor TV antenna. The setup was extremely simple-just plug it in and scan for channels. The signal amplifier makes a big difference, and I was able to pick up many local channels in clear 4K/1080p quality. The reception is strong even from long distances, and I haven't had any interruptions or static. The 18-foot cable is super convenient because it lets me place the antenna in the best spot. The dark gray color also looks modern and blends in nicely. Great value for excellent performance!
I can't believe I didn't try this sooner. I made the assumption that because I'm in an apartment building where it looked like I wouldn't have reception, it wouldn't work and never even considered trying. Prior to this I owned a home in another state and went without TV for 3 years due to a serious falling out with an infamous cable provider--I'm a senior on Social Security, ergo a tight budget and they jacked up my charges every month by 50% to force me to resign a contract. I had tried a different brand of antenna in my former house, which didn't work-apparently because it had aluminum siding--so hadn't a lot of confidence this time around.(In case this is helpful: In my area there was a free online site that provides tv schedules for those without cable and there are sites with helpful hints about using antennae, which upped my confidence. When you click on the show you're watching, the tv brings up info about that show and earlier and later ones on each channel, which is a help as well. I don't know if this is a function of smart tvs but that seems likely.)Luckily, friends I visited where I now live, who are pretty tech savvy, have gone this route and really encouraged me to do the same. They live in a home outside the city, so I wasn't completely confident but decided to check this out again. So, I did some research and felt comfortable that I was likely to be happy with this brand and the Ultra-thin Digital HDTV Antenna, with a range of 130 miles. If you're concerned about the installation: I'm a 73-year-old 5' female with 'devastating' damage to both shoulders--typing this was quite painful--and I still had no problems installing the antenna. Easy Peasy. Plus, it didn't interfere with the DVD player that is still attached.I did try removing the amplifier, counter-intuitive, but was suggested, and the reception immediately improved. What surprised me was that it also worked much better lying flat, right under the tv. I moved the cable modem (for internet) a bit farther back, as that did seem to cause some interference, as the instructions indicated. At that point the picture equaled cable on all stations without wavering. (Today's cable requires a modem but you can purchase your own to eliminate the monthly rental fees, which my friends have done. I'm waiting until I move to see if I should do that.)I can't believe how long I went without tv before. I'm getting almost as many channels as I got on cable at the low tier I had, but also more PBS channels than cable (one has 'world' programming) and a couple more new stations that are fun. The only ones I'll miss when I drop off the cable set are The Weather Chanel and C-Span but they're not worth the money I'll save. I'm in a tough location and the picture is still great, so I'm expecting this to get even better when I move. And, the reception is equal to cable, which really surprised me. (I have a Roku TV.) On the very few stations where the reception is weak, I tweak the antenna and they're fine.My friend had suggested I add tv service to my bedroom, as it's painful to lie down so I put off going to bed until-well, it's 5:30 am right now... (With tv on in the background, I'll likely fall asleep better, but, I couldn't justify the extra modem with cable. The free antenna will really be a great solution.)Re the free antenna offer for a review: If this one wasn't working so well, it would have been better to return it and get a different brand, so that doesn't affect the nature of my review. I've already suggested this to other persons I know who have issues with cable, and, even if you retain your cable, you can bring in extra stations that cable may not include, as I have.I asked one question to their customer service at the address on the card that came with the antenna and they got back the same day. (I was just checking my email--totally out of control at 65K--and located their response, duh.)I plan on updating this with photos in the near future, one of the same station with cable and with the antenna, before I 'cut the cord', which will be in the next few days :)

The maximum effective range for an indoor TV antenna typically extends up to a few hundred miles depending on local geography and terrain obstacles. Physical barriers like concrete walls, metal roofing, and heavy electronic appliances can reduce this range, making optimal placement near windows crucial.
Yes, TV signal boosters work by amplifying weak signals received by the antenna before they reach your television tuner, which helps reduce pixelation. However, if you live very close to a broadcast tower, a booster can overload the tuner and degrade the signal, so it should only be switched on when needed.
If your antenna is not picking up channels, it may be due to physical obstructions, electromagnetic interference from large appliances, or an incorrect TV input setting. Try moving the antenna to a higher location or a window, ensure the TV input is set to 'Air' or 'Antenna', and perform a fresh channel scan.
Yes, this is an authentic USA-imported product. Dropy India sources genuine personal care, health, and electronic lifestyle accessories directly from authorized distributors in the United States, ensuring Indian consumers receive 100% original international variants.
Yes, a 4K-capable antenna will work on older televisions as long as the TV has a standard coaxial input port. However, the actual display resolution will be limited by your television's maximum capabilities, meaning an older 1080p or 720p TV will display the broadcast in its native resolution rather than Ultra HD.
