Just as described
Just as described, nice and small. I am using as a daily visual reminder for short sets of exercises. My goal is 10×10 per day of squats, push-ups, different stomach exercises, etc., so each colored bed is for a different exercise and every time I do a set of 10, I slide a bead over!

Excellent little Abacus!
It's small and cute. I use it to count Kegel exercises, and it works very well.

Good tool for visually oriented learners.
Teaching my kid numbers places and basic arithmetic. This is working great for a very visually oriented learner. We pull it out while playing Monopoly or Payday. It's not super sturdy or durable, but you can't beat the price. It won't survive typical play from any young child, but it's not really for play.
FAQs
How to make an abacus counting frame?
While you can construct a DIY version, this professional-grade Magikon counting frame features a precision-built wooden structure with smooth-sliding beads. Using a purpose-built frame ensures that the spacing is correct for consistent practice and long-term durability for your child's learning journey.
Which is better Japanese abacus or Chinese abacus?
The Chinese abacus (suanpan) typically features two beads on the top deck and five on the bottom, while the Japanese version (soroban) has one and four. For early childhood foundational math, a standard 5-row counting frame like this one is the most effective tool for basic visualization and number recognition.
How to do 5-6 on abacus?
To perform subtraction on an abacus, you first set the beads to represent the starting number. You then slide the beads away from the central counting bar to represent the quantity being removed. This visual method helps children understand the logic of subtraction as a removal process.
