FAQs
How often should you use an undercoat rake on a dog?
For most double-coated dogs, using an undercoat rake 1 to 2 times a week is ideal for maintaining a healthy coat. During heavy shedding seasons, you can increase usage to help manage loose fur before it ends up on your furniture.
Will this brush scratch my dog's skin?
No, the teeth feature rounded edges designed to gently massage your pet's skin. It effectively removes dead undercoat fur without scratching or causing irritation.
Can this grooming tool be used on short-haired dogs?
This specific 2-in-1 rake is optimized for medium to long hair double-coated breeds that develop dense undercoats and mats. For very short, single-coated breeds, a standard soft bristle brush or slicker brush is typically recommended.
