    Barely any scent and dries non-sticky

    This review is for medicube Kojic Acid Turmeric Clarifying & Balancing Capsule Serum, which is made in Korea. This is a clear gel with yellow blobs inside it and it is very lightly scented with a sort of earthy tone. It does not make you smell like curry, don't worry, but there is that slight earthiness that is the base of curry. This fades as soon as the product dries, which is about one minute. The gel is on the thicker side and absorbs easily into the skin but the little blobs take a little more effort to rub in. The serum does not dry sticky or leave a residue. It is highly moisturizing and does not leave you shiny. I've purchased Medicube products in the past before using this product and had a great experience with them (the PDRN milky toner is soooooooooooo good) so I was excited to try this product and it did not disappoint. At a price of $21.80 for 1.01 oz I think this is a good value for the money because this brand delivers on its promises. I did not experience any irritation when using the product and you can see the ingredient list in the final image.

    Helped fade hormonal acne scars

    Gentle, unscented, light serum

    I have some uneven skin tone on my face, and it makes me look either "dirty" or blotchy; the discoloration is very pronounced. Using this serum is unscented, lightweight, not sticky and dries quickly. It does take time to work and requires consistency, and doesn't dry out my skin at all. I apply it every other night, it's easy, just layer on after toner and then follow with moisturizer. For the cost, this is a great alternative to retinol or tretinol. It's gentle and it works! This does lighten my complexion; the tones aren't the same shade yet, but they're noticeably lighter/brighter.
