The perfect replacement battery for an APC Reverse-UPS 450 unit.
The perfect battery replacement for my APC Back-UPS 450! It checks all the boxes for compatibility! The battery is of the right size, the red positive terminal is on the left hand side, the terminal connectors are of the F2 size and the price is right. Before ordering this battery I measured the dimensions of the original one that came with the APC unit and found them to be identical as per the listed specs and also that the battery terminals were of the F2 size (Beware that some similar sized batteries that are available on Dropy have the smaller F1 terminal size). Also very important is that the Positive (Red) terminal must be on the left hand side when the front of the battery is facing you. This is critical because the red positive cable inside the APC Back-UPS is shorter than the black negative cable so the battery can only go in facing one way in order for the red APC cable to be able to reach and connect to the red battery terminal.I placed my order and when it arrived I installed it and charged it up without any problems. Very pleased with my purchase. Five stars.
