Description
The MILIVIXAY Organic Hemp Wick is a premium, eco-friendly solution for candle makers and those seeking a cleaner alternative to traditional butane lighters. Crafted from 100% organic hemp and meticulously coated with edible-grade natural beeswax, this 200-foot spool offers a slow, consistent burn without the presence of noxious fumes or chemical aftertastes. Designed for purity, the wick is completely unbleached and free from synthetic dyes, ensuring that your environment remains free of toxic residues.
This standard 1.0mm thickness is highly versatile, making it the perfect choice for creating tea lights, votives, and taper candles. For larger DIY candle projects, the strands can be easily twisted together to increase thickness. Beyond candle making, it serves as a superior ignition source for pipes and cigars, preserving the true flavor of your tobacco by eliminating the 'funky' taste associated with gas lighters. Whether you are a hobbyist or a connoisseur, this sustainably sourced hemp wick provides a professional-grade experience for all your aromatic needs.
How to use
- Unwind the desired length of hemp wick from the spool.
- For candle making, secure the wick to a sustainer tab or wrap around a wick holder before pouring wax.
- For use as a lighter alternative, ignite the end of the wick with a flame, use the hemp flame to light your candle or pipe, and gently extinguish the wick by dipping the tip into melted wax or snuffing it out to prevent smoke.

Butter candles!
I used these to make butter candles inside homemade bread bowls. They function as they should. Wax doesn't destroy the food, no taste, no scent, perfect thickness of wick, and I will never have to buy it again bc there is so much of it! Great value.

FAQs
Are hemp wicks good for beeswax?
Yes, hemp wicks are an excellent pairing for beeswax candles. The natural fibers and beeswax coating ensure a compatible burn rate and a clean, soot-free flame that complements the purity of natural wax.
How long do hemp wicks last?
A 200-foot spool provides extensive usage depending on frequency. The beeswax coating ensures a slow, controlled burn, allowing a small segment to stay lit significantly longer than a standard match.
What is the healthiest wick for candles?
Unbleached organic hemp wicks coated in natural beeswax are considered among the healthiest options. They avoid the lead cores found in some older wicks and the chemical fumes associated with paraffin-coated versions.
Is this MILIVIXAY hemp wick authentic and available in India?
Yes, this is an authentic MILIVIXAY product imported directly from the USA. Dropy India ensures all personal care and DIY supplies are sourced from genuine American distributors for Indian consumers.
Can I use this for thick pillar candles?
While the 1.0mm size is standard, you can easily braid or twist two to three strands together to create a thicker wick suitable for larger diameter pillar candles.
