Fine Piece!!
I bought this largely to play music and ebooks. I have a pi-pirate radio, 3 or 4 Logitech squeezebox streaming radios, a jvc, etc, etc.as far as computer radios go , this one doesn't lag as much as the others, the fidelity is fantastic on playback and the controls are easy to figure out after a bit of messing about with it .sound reproduction is better than an Ihome ipod dock I've got it next to. Overall for less than the price of a case of beer or a couple bottles of fine sparkling cold duck, what we've got here is an outright entertainment bonaza, that fits in your pocket.I liked it so much I gave my brother one.doesn't pickup much on the shortwave, but thats not really what I acquired it for.all in all a dandy radio for office, kitchen or garage, even fits under the pillow if you like audiobooks.one of the enhanced radio products I've used, particularly at its amount point. I live on a hill that blocks most of the radio stations, I was surprised that this unit was delivered stations I can't usually pick up on the FM.Sound caliber is amazing for the proportions of the enclosure and the proportions of the driver. Excellent travel radio.edit 3/25/2020 - well I now own 2 of these little babies. not bad for 20 minutes work at the most, and it makes it easy to see which one is which at a glance. I like the radio reception as nicely, its better than most especially for its proportions. I did a little cosmetic modto one of them and colored in the indentations on the Volume rocker and the transport buttons.I used a white Sharpie (oil based) and a half a dozen q-tips dipped in alcohol for cleanup. I pushed that metal tab down a bit with a miniature screwdriver and it performs fine again.I picked up a couple spare batterys, comes across as enjoy I'll be using this for a good while. I discovered it will play mp3,wav and wma. I wound up doing 2 coats to get sufficient coverage. I opened it and realized there is a little metal tab that provides tension on the spring bar that latches the sd card. I tried masking but my mad skills weren't up to it, turned out it was easier to just apply carefully the paint, then let it dry and remove the overage with the qtips. so to keep them straight. it does not claim to do FLAC or MP4 (aac) files and in fact won't cause I attempted it...I had a difficulty with the sd card not latching in place after I removed it a couple times.

Great radio
A versatile space-saving Radio. Take my beloved AM / FM stations. Highly good connectivity. Comes with its power cord as well. Has a pleasant holder which comes remarkably handy and makes it simple to carry. Nicely made with a retro look to it. Sound is transparent and for its condensed size is pretty superb. I highly suggest it. You cannot beat the price / performance offer with this Radio. Exceptional Bluetooth conectivity as well.

Decent grade
The price is a bit high, but the item quality is fair. If you're not too bothered by the cost, it's worth considering.

Solid Milwaukee build quality, an improvement over the older model.
This is one terrific radio. The radio comes with a extremely unique speaker design. The layout is clean, the knobs and switches are positioned effectively. I have many radios, mostly for AM Dxing, and all have there positives and negatives, and this radio is no different in those respects.I purchased this radio based off reviews that stated this was the portable radio to get for FM Dxing. For all of you out there, looking for a portable FM DXing machine, look no further. Remarkably hard to see, so I'm keeping it. This is one area I think Eton could be improved upon. The aesthetics of the radio are remarkably fine. Highs are crystal transparent, and has no problems with voice tones. My only gripe is the power button needs to be pressed twice. My only gripe is I wish it had a more powerful amplifier. This beats both my CC radio 3 and CC radio EP pro. This may be a feature, in case you accidentally hit it when fiddling around (which I have done a few times). It has numerous features I have not attempted out yet. I would have much preferred the previous fashion 5" driver, but Eton decided to go this route, possibly for weight savings. The 48" dipole antenna definitely helps pull in those distant stations. For AM, it's just OK (to be fair, I have not spent much time on the AM with this radio, as the FM is just that solid). You will be treated to mid bass, but for anything lower, forget it. It's certainly above moderate for a portable shortwave radio.Sound is fine, but lacking in low end bass. It still does a decent job on medium wave, but there are other units specifically produced for AM reception, that will do much finer. On shortwave, this radio does a fantastic job. I have came across myself at full volume, and and wanting more audio output. The speaker grill has a small indent from coarse handling. Well, the nice news is, this machine is utterly remarkable for FM reception. I do am pleased with the fact it has connections on the reverse for external antennas. My radio did come with a bit of minor damage during shipping.
