FAQs
What is a Uni Kuru Toga mechanical pencil?
A Uni Kuru Toga mechanical pencil features a specialized internal gear mechanism that rotates the graphite lead every time the pencil is lifted from the paper. This constant rotation ensures that the lead wears down evenly into a cone shape, preventing the chisel-like flat spots common in standard mechanical pencils.
What is the difference between standard Kuru Toga and the Pipe Slide model?
The Pipe Slide model features a sliding guide pipe that covers and protects the lead as you write down. As the lead wears away, the pipe automatically shortens with it, allowing you to write continuously without clicking to advance more lead while protecting it from breaking.
What lead size does the M54521P.24 model use?
This model is engineered specifically for 0.5mm mechanical pencil leads, which provide a fine and precise line width suitable for detailed work.
