Description
The Mocherpion Natural Cork Cat Scratching Post and Ramp offers an innovative solution for cat owners looking to protect their indoor furniture while satisfying their pet's natural instincts. Crafted from a premium combination of sustainable natural cork and high-density corrugated cardboard, this scratcher provides a uniquely satisfying grip and sound that felines find irresistible.
The ergonomic L-shaped inclined design serves as both a climbing ramp and a scratch pad, saving precious floor space in your home. Built with a solid wood frame and a thickened, weighted non-slip base, it ensures maximum stability even during vigorous scratching sessions by larger cats or multi-cat households.
Unlike traditional cardboard scratchers that leave messy shreds across your floors, this high-density cork construction is virtually mess-free, minimizing cleanup and reducing the risk of accidental ingestion. It features a suspended toy ball to keep your pet engaged and entertained for hours.
Perfect for indoor cats of all sizes and ages, this durable pet accessory includes a replaceable scratching pad design, allowing you to renew the surface over time and maximize its longevity.
How to use
- Assemble the solid wood frame into its designated L-shape position using the included hardware components.
- Place the pre-assembled natural cork scratching pad firmly into the frame slot until secured.
- Position the completed ramp on a flat floor surface, preferably near your cat's favorite resting spot or adjacent to furniture they frequently try to scratch.
- Encourage interaction by gently tapping the suspended toy ball or sprinkling a small amount of catnip onto the cork surface.
- When the scratching area becomes heavily worn, unlock the frame barrier, lift out the old pad, and slide in a fresh Mocherpion replacement insert.

FAQs
Are cardboard scratch pads good for cats?
Yes, cardboard scratchers are excellent for maintaining claw health and shedding outer husk layers. However, this hybrid cork and cardboard model offers even better durability and significantly less messy debris compared to standard cardboard pads.
What is the best material for cat scratch pads?
While sisal and cardboard are traditional favorites, natural cork is rapidly emerging as a premium choice. It provides a unique texture, a deeply satisfying scratching sound, and produces minimal mess for homeowners to sweep up.
How does the L-shaped design help indoor cats?
The L-shaped structure provides both vertical and horizontal scratching options to mirror a cat's natural stretching behavior. It also doubles as an inclined climbing ramp, which helps keep indoor felines active while saving floor space.
