Description
The Monoprice Audio/Video Coaxial Cable is a high-performance connectivity solution designed for demanding home theater and audiophile setups. Built with premium RG-59U coaxial cable, this six-foot interconnect features a 75-ohm impedance rating, making it perfectly optimized for conducting high-bandwidth content.
It is an exceptional choice for linking active subwoofers to home theater receivers, routing S/PDIF digital audio signals, or transmitting high-quality composite video. The core is constructed from 99.999% pure bare oxygen-free copper to ensure flawless signal transmission.
To eliminate audio hiss and video degradation, it utilizes advanced double shielding, combining an inner layer of Aluminum-Mylar foil with 100% coverage and an outer copper braid to block electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. Finished with heavy-duty molded connector housings and gold-plated RCA male connectors that resist corrosion, this cable guarantees long-lasting durability and tight connections.
Additionally, the outer jacket carries a fire-safety VW-1 rating, ensuring it complies with residential fire safety regulations for in-wall applications.

FAQs
What specific devices are you trying to connect?
This Monoprice coaxial cable is designed to connect premium audio and video components equipped with RCA ports. It is most commonly used to connect home theater AV receivers to powered subwoofers, S/PDIF digital audio interfaces, or legacy composite video components.
What length cable do you need?
This specific model is six feet long, which provides ample slack for short to medium distances between stacked home theater components or adjacent media cabinets. For runs extending across large rooms or through walls to distant speakers, longer variations should be selected to prevent cable tension.
Can this cable be safely run inside walls?
Yes, this cable features a specialized jacket with a VW-1 fire safety rating. This certification indicates that the outer insulation has been treated to comply with residential fire code safety standards, allowing you to run it through or within residential walls safely.
Is this Monoprice cable an authentic import available in India?
Yes, this is an authentic Monoprice product imported directly from the USA. Dropy India sources all personal care, health, and premium electronics accessories directly from authorized US distributors to guarantee genuine quality for Indian consumers.
Does this cable support digital audio or only analog setups?
It supports both digital and analog systems perfectly. Thanks to its true 75-ohm impedance and extensive double shielding, it effortlessly transmits high-bandwidth digital S/PDIF audio signals just as effectively as it handles low-frequency analog subwoofer or composite video signals.
