    So Many Shiny Possibilities

    Okay, so I didn't think I'd get this much mileage out of one little box of chrome powder, but here we are. There are so many colors in this set it's kind of overwhelming in the best way. Some look really similar in the jar, but once I started layering them over different base coats, the fun kicked in. I've been trying everything from full metallics to little chrome accents and even a couple of janky experiments that still came out cool somehow. They're really fine powders too, so just open the jars like you're handling fairy dust. Gently.Application's been pretty chill. I just tap it over a half-cured gel base and buff it in, and that mirror-y finish starts showing up like magic. I always seal with a top coat under the lamp and it locks everything down nicely. I wasn't expecting to like this much sparkle on my nails, but I've definitely caught myself holding my hands up to the light more than once. If you're into trying different combos and messing around with finishes, this gives you a whole lot to play with.

    Works great! Took me multiple layers to get smooth coverage

    Tell me why chrome takes like 16 layers of gel to look smooth 😂 😭…Anyway. These powders are great. I used a non wipe top coat and cured that for just 30 seconds. When I cured too long the powder did not stick very well.I will probably label the containers because it is kinda hard to tell which is which. I loved the bronze effect I got from layering over black.But yeah. If your nails aren't even and well filed, the chrome will accentuate every bump and lump. Isolated chrome designs would be easier and possible quicker!P.s. it's good to have a dedicated top coat for chrome because the powder gets everywhere and can "contaminate" your top coat forever…
