Description
The NapUp Adjustable Head Support for Car Seat is the patented, premier solution designed to eliminate 'bobbing head syndrome' when children fall asleep during road trips. Engineered for toddlers and kids aged two years and older, this innovative travel accessory gently cradles the forehead with a lightweight, flexible arc that prevents the head from slumping forward or sideways.
It provides optimal neck alignment without restricting natural movement when your little one is awake. Crafted from high-quality, breathable, and sweat-free foam fabric, it ensures premium comfort throughout warm Indian summers.
The clever design attaches easily to virtually any forward-facing car seat or high-back booster using fully adjustable straps that grow alongside your child. When they are awake, the forehead strap simply flips up out of the way, making it a seamless part of your daily commute or holiday travel.
Safety remains the highest priority; this product has been meticulously crash-tested according to rigorous international standards, ensuring it integrates perfectly with your existing vehicle security setup without compromising its structural integrity. Ideal for Indian parents seeking authentic, high-quality international solutions to enhance their child's comfort and safety during everyday car rides.
How to use
- Position the main supportive backrest against the upper portion of your child's forward-facing car seat or high-back booster.
- Wrap the attachment straps securely around the headrest structure and tighten until firmly anchored.
- Adjust the vertical position so the forehead strap sits just above your child's eyebrows when lowered.
- When the child is awake, move the forehead arc to the upward position.
- Once they fall asleep, gently lower the forehead strap over their brow, ensuring a comfortable, snug fit with approximately one finger of clearance.

FAQs
How to stop a child's head from bobbing in a car seat?
The most effective and safety-tested way to prevent slumping is by using a dedicated support device like the NapUp Head Holder. It uses a lightweight forehead strap to keep the head upright comfortably without restricting movement. Standard neck pillows often push the head further forward, which doesn't solve the bobbing issue.
Is car seat head support necessary?
While not legally mandated, it is highly beneficial for preventing neck strain and respiratory discomfort caused by a child's head flopping forward while sleeping. Using a patented, crash-tested solution ensures your child remains comfortable during long drives without compromising their safety.
Are car seat head support inserts safe?
Many aftermarket inserts that go behind the child's back or head are unsafe because they alter the harness fit. However, NapUp is safe because it attaches around the outside of the seat structure and has been thoroughly crash-tested to ensure it does not interfere with the car seat's safety performance.
