Description
The National Nail 77198 16D Bright Duplex Nail is an essential hardware solution engineered for temporary construction, woodworking, and scaffolding applications. Featuring a distinctive double-headed steel design, this 1-pound box of 3-inch nails allows for secure fastening while enabling fast, damage-free removal.
The lower head drives flush against the wood surface to hold materials firmly in place, whereas the upper head remains fully exposed above the lumber. This innovative configuration lets workers easily hook a standard claw hammer or crowbar underneath the outer head to extract the nail quickly without splintering or destroying the underlying timber.
Fabricated with a bright, uncoated finish, these duplex nails deliver dependable holding power for temporary framing, concrete formwork, and scaffold assembly or dismantling. Ideal for contractors and builders seeking efficiency and material preservation on job sites.
How to use
- Drive the duplex nail into the wood until the lower head rests flush against the surface, leaving the upper head exposed.
