FAQs
What is a variable ND filter used for?
A variable ND filter reduces the amount of light entering your camera lens, allowing you to use wider apertures or slower shutter speeds in bright daylight. It is ideal for creating motion blur in waterfalls, rivers, and clouds, or achieving a shallow depth of field in bright sunlight.
Does this filter cause the X-cross dark spot pattern?
No, this filter is specifically designed to eliminate the dark X-cross polarization artifact commonly found on lower-quality variable ND filters, even when used on wide-angle lenses within its 1 to 5 stop range.
How do I know if the 37mm size fits my camera lens?
Check the front of your camera lens or underneath the lens cap for the diameter symbol (Ф) followed by a number. This filter is compatible exclusively with lenses featuring a 37mm filter thread size.

What does the 30-layer nano coating do?
The 30-layer double-sided nano coating repels water, dust, oil, and fingerprints while reducing surface reflectivity to 0.1 percent, preventing ghosting and protecting the optical glass from scratches.
