FAQs
Would you like to know about potential X-pattern cross polarization issues at max stops, or do you need help finding step-up rings for a different lens size?
Yes, when rotating variable ND filters near their maximum density limits like ND256 or ND1000, cross-polarization patterns known as an X-cross can occasionally appear depending on your focal length and lighting angle. Backing off slightly from the maximum stop helps resolve this issue.
What camera lens thread size is compatible with this filter?
This specific filter is designed with an 82mm thread size. Please check your camera lens barrel for the Phi symbol followed by 82 to ensure a correct match before purchasing.
Does this filter affect image sharpness or color accuracy?
No, the filter is constructed with high-definition optical glass and anti-reflective nano-coatings designed to block strong light efficiently while preserving natural colors and high image resolution.
