  1. Fill the water reservoir to the line with lukewarm distilled, commercially bottled, or previously boiled and cooled tap water.
  2. Empty one premixed saline packet into the reservoir and stir until dissolved.
  3. Lean forward over a sink, place the irrigator tip snugly against one nostril, and press the power button to start the pulsating rinse.
  4. Breathe through your mouth while the solution flows through your nasal passage and exits the other nostril.
  5. Repeat for the other side and gently blow your nose.
