FAQs
Are all hose Quick Connects the same?
No, quick connect fittings vary by brand and design. The Nelson 50339 washer set is specifically crafted for older Nelson brass female quick-connect garden hose fittings and may not fit other universal or plastic models.
How to get hose out of quick connect fitting?
Pull back the outer sleeve or collar on the female connector while simultaneously pulling the male end away. If the fitting is stuck due to mineral buildup, gently wiggle it or apply a mild lubricant.
Which hose connectors are best?
Solid brass connectors are generally considered the best choice for durability, corrosion resistance, and high-pressure tolerance compared to plastic alternatives.
