    Love this!

    Really like this pore stick, so far! Have several other Neogen products that I've had good results from after using, so I was really excited to try this one out, too! Feels smooth & creamy going on and makes my skin feel very refreshed. It isn't too drying, either, like other clay masks I've used. Also, the fact that this mask comes in a stick form is super convenient & way less messy! I just put it on my entire t-zone, where I'm most oily/more prone to blackheads/whiteheads, & let it sit for a few minutes until it dries, then splash my face w/a bit of water, rub it in a little bit, & rinse it off. It rinses off really easily & I don't feel like there's any residue on my face, afterwards. It doesn't say how often to use, so I decided to use it just once a week, like I did w/my other clay masks. A little bit of product seems to go a long way, too, so I imagine this stick should last me a long time. It's also loaded with so many ingredients that are good for the skin -- I posted a pic of the ingredients, since I noticed that they aren't listed on this page! My pores do look less noticeable right after using it, my skin feels soft & smooth, & I haven't had any irritation/breakouts -- but it's still too soon to notice any dramatic differences, so I'll update within a month to give the final results!

    Nice-smelling clay mask with a unique twist...literally!

    Canadian Clay Pore Stick Mask by Neogen is one of the best clay masks I have ever used. I am usually a little leery of clay masks. I find them too drying, too messy, and too unpleasantly scented. This mask is different in so many ways. First, as you may have noticed from posted pictures, it comes in a stick! It is in a twist-up applicator, much like a solid deodorant. To apply it, you simply swipe it across your face as if it were a really thick crayon. It offers enough maneuverability to 'color within the lines', so to speak, and to keep the creamy mask where you want it and avoid wasted product. It allows you to bypass most of the mess of traditional clay masks, too. No messy hands or applicators that must then be washed. It has a fresh citrusy scent that I really enjoyed and found much nicer than most clay masks. This product is made in South Korea, but it does have instructions in both Korean and English. Once applied, you just let the mask dry for three to five minutes, according to the directions, then rinse it off. It actually rinsed off very easily and cleanly. With many clay masks, I find myself damaging my skin by pulling or scrubbing at it to remove the very mask that was supposed to be pampering it. That wasn't the case with this one, and I love that. I believe there was an observable pore-tightening result from using this product. My skin certainly felt cleaner and softer after using it, and I think it cleared my pores, making them look smaller. I was unfamiliar with the brand when I got this, but I look forward to trying their other products. Neogen's Canadian Clay Pore Stick Mask did everything it promised, it was easy and even fun to use, and it smelled great, which I loved. And actually, there wasn't anything about this mask that I didn't love...aside from the price. It IS expensive...full stop. But I do think it's worth it. That said, there are products available that have similar effects for a LOT less money. I do recommend this to anybody looking for a good mask with a unique twist (ha!) who doesn't mind spending a little (or a lot) extra. I love it, but I can't afford it, so I probably won't buy it again. I hope my experience with this product helps you make a more informed purchase. Happy shopping!

    To peel or NOT to peel?

    I rarely use clay masks because it is messier than peel masks and I preferred the feeling I got after a good quality peel. This product changed my mind about clay masks. It was incredibly easy to use and cleaner to work with as a twist up stick application. It was smooth going on and applied evenly that I didn't need to do any spreading with my fingers. It has a slight refreshing yet spicy scent and I like that it is subtle because I am sensitive to any sort of fragrance. I defied the instructions by leaving the mask on for 10 minutes longer. I wanted to wait until it dries and crack but it didn't. It remained soft as it did when I first applied it. It washed off easily with warm water and my skin was left feeling a bit more moisturized than it did before but at the same time, a little too squeaky clean. I felt like there was a layer of "something" left behind on my skin, I just don't know what. I know it doesn't look like you get a lot from this tube but it actually will last through 10+ uses.

    High price, but very high-quality mask

    This mask is fabulous. It's easy to use, goes on the skin like velvet, and visibly reduces the size of pores after the first use. I have sensitive, combination skin with an oily T-Zone. The first time I used this mask I used it all over my face and it was wonderful and left my skin feeling totally refreshed and clean. I didn't have any discomfort or the feeling of my skin being too dry, but from now on, I'll probably just use this on my T-Zone to really target the trouble areas as that is where I saw the most benefit. This mask does have exfoliating qualities so I have only been using it once a week to ensure it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. I haven't had any issues with this mask causing breakouts and it's become a new favorite of mine. I was initially unsure of how I felt about this product considering the high price point and small amount, but after using it, I wouldn't think twice about buying this product again or buying it as a gift. I think the price is absolutely worth it. Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone with oily skin or large pores. It does a fantastic job of leaving the skin refreshed and clean, it's easy to use, mess free, and doesn't have a strong or irritating scent.
